We reserved a standard room and got a free upgrade. The room was spacious, bright, came with tea/coffee facilities, TV, shower and separate toilet. Very comfortable. Apart from that we liked the swimming pool and the view from the breakfast room. The hotel offers many other amenities such as a very cozy lounge with pool table. The staff was very friendly and there were many exciting hiking trails within walking range. A very nice place.

A very pleasant and calm hotel, with a beautiful setting surrounded by mountains. The room assigned to us had some issues with the Wi-Fi connection, and the staff was very helpful, immediately offering us an upgrade to a different (and better) room. The breakfast was great and the pool was perfect for relaxing at the end of the day. Recommended!

Cilaos is just beautiful, even if we were living in a shack. But Le Cilaos is really nice, with a nice heated pool and a dazzling view of the highest mountain on the island. From the pool and the restaurant. It's a bit tired now, it couldn't have four stars in Paris, but it's OK here. Excellent food over the weekend with a wide choice of buffet for dinner and breakfast. We'd love to come back again sometime...

location was great staff was very welcoming, had a lot of nice gestures - drink after the hike, advice on things to do, my mother received a rose for Mother’s Day great common areas great breakfast and dinner buffet ! try the lentil they are delicious!!!

Very friendly staff, taking care of each and every customer. Excellent location, good restaurant, large rooms. In general, a very welcoming and enjoyable hotel I can strongly recommend.
